Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim shared his views on the upcoming IPL Qualifier 2 match, favoring Mumbai Indians (MI) to win against Punjab Kings (PBKS) due to their strong form and bowling. He also highlighted the potential for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to win the IPL title, especially for Virat Kohli. During the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ event in Delhi, Karim discussed the MI-PBKS match, emphasizing MI’s dominant play. He contrasted this with PBKS’s recent defeat. He also expressed his support for Virat Kohli and RCB’s prospects. Furthermore, Karim spoke about India’s tour of England, seeing it as a good chance for the young team under captain Shubman Gill to perform well. He praised the team’s depth and the opportunities for young players. The tour commences in June with five Tests, coinciding with a new World Test Championship cycle. Karim also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for meeting young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi and acknowledged Suryavanshi’s exceptional talent and the growing reach of cricket.
