A chaotic scene unfolded in Ranchi when traffic police officers were subjected to a violent assault by auto rickshaw drivers. The incident, which occurred at Kathal Morh, near the Nagri police station, has gained widespread attention after a video of the event surfaced online.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the attack was carried out by a group of auto drivers who reportedly used stones against the police officers. One of the officers, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, sustained critical injuries and was promptly admitted to RIMS hospital in Ranchi. The extent of his injuries has raised serious concerns.
The auto drivers involved in the assault have fled the scene, prompting a police manhunt. The Traffic SP of Ranchi has assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible. The Nagri police station is currently investigating the matter.
