A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru endured an unfortunate experience when they became trapped inside the aircraft’s lavatory for the entire flight. The airline has since offered an apology and compensation, but the event has garnered widespread attention and amusement.

The passenger was only able to exit the restroom after the plane landed in Bengaluru. The flight, which departed Mumbai at 2:10 AM after a delay, was originally scheduled for 10:55 PM. The incident began when a passenger in seat 14D entered the lavatory soon after takeoff and the door jammed. Neither the passenger nor the crew could unlock the door.

To address the situation, the crew wrote a note and slipped it under the door, requesting the passenger to remain seated on the toilet until the flight landed. The note went viral on social media, drawing a lot of attention. The flight landed in Bengaluru at around 3:45 AM. Ground staff then opened the door, and the airline has since apologized to the passenger.
