Due to shortcomings in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the Pendra development block, the district administration has taken decisive action. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of diligence in his duties. Moreover, Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat, has been issued a show cause notice.
Instructions have also been issued to relocate the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to another posting with immediate effect. These actions were taken under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has stated that any negligence regarding government schemes will not be tolerated. He has warned all panchayat staff that strict measures will be applied against those who hamper the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other crucial programs. This strong action by the administration has caused a ripple effect among the panchayats, prompting directives to all panchayats to implement schemes promptly and transparently.
