The Pendra district administration has responded with firm measures in response to lapses in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to his negligence and failure to fulfill his duties. Simultaneously, Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat, has received a show-cause notice. Further, orders have been issued to transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat immediately. This action was taken under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh. He has made it clear that any negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated. He has also warned all panchayat staff, saying that strict action will continue against anyone who hinders the successful implementation of essential programs like the PM Awas Yojana. The administration’s firm steps have caused a sense of urgency among the panchayats, and the remaining ones have been instructed to execute the schemes in a timely and transparent way.
