Chhattisgarh is preparing to host Union Home Minister Amit Shah towards the end of June. A key part of his itinerary includes a meeting with the security forces who played a crucial role in the recent successful operations against Naxal insurgents. The visit is a direct result of the security forces’ achievements in combating Naxalism. After the successes, the Home Minister had previously acknowledged the efforts of the officers in Delhi and will now meet the forces on the ground to boost their confidence.
