A SpiceJet passenger experienced a travel ordeal on a Mumbai to Bengaluru flight, finding themselves trapped inside the lavatory for the entire duration. The airline has offered apologies and compensation. The passenger was eventually released after the plane landed in Bengaluru, with the assistance of ground crew and engineers who were able to open the faulty door.

The incident took place on a Monday night flight, which was delayed by two hours. After takeoff, a passenger in seat 14D entered the restroom but was unable to get out because the door was jammed. The crew attempted to unlock the door, but they were unsuccessful. The crew then provided comfort to the passenger by slipping a hand-written note under the door, asking them to remain seated until the plane landed in Bengaluru. The image of the note quickly spread on social media, leading to amusement and comments. The plane landed around 3:45 AM, and the airline has since issued an apology.
