Case of negligence in preparing the seniority list of surplus teachers

Raipur, June 05, 2025/ BEO BamhniDeeh, District Janjgir-Champa M.D. Diwan has been suspended for negligence in following the instructions related to the rationalization of the School Education Department. This suspension has been done by the Commissioner Bilaspur Division Bilaspur.
According to the instructions received from the government, a seniority list was to be prepared by identifying the surplus teachers posted in BamhniDeeh block of Janjgir-Champa district. The District Education Officer, Janjgir-Champa, submitted a report to the Collector, in which it was mentioned that irregularities were found in the seniority list prepared by the Block Education Officer. Although the process was completed by correcting the errors in the list before the counseling, considering the negligence in preparing the seniority list as serious, the Collector, Janjgir-Champa had proposed disciplinary action. On this basis, the Bilaspur Divisional Commissioner issued an order to suspend BEO Diwan with immediate effect. During the suspension period, his headquarters has been fixed as Joint Director, School Education Department, Bilaspur Division, Bilaspur.
