Heavy rains brought about a mudslide that swept right into a residential house in a western Colombia the town on Tuesday morning, killing no less than 14 folks and injuring 35 others, government mentioned.
Officers mentioned one individual was once reported lacking after the fatal slide in Risaralda, within the municipality of Pereira.

Pereira Mayor Carlos Maya, who showed the loss of life toll, warned that the chance of landslides persisted within the house and instructed folks to depart to steer clear of additional casualties.
Most of the homes in the community hit are of wood building, and greater than 60 houses have been evacuated as groups assessed the wear and tear and dangers.
Colombian President Ivan Duque despatched his condolences to the households of the deceased.
