    Bodh Gaya (Bihar. At the 7th Khel India Youth Games held in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, women and male players of Chhattisgarh have shown their strength in Malkhamb. Chhattisgarh managed to win a silver and 4 bronze medal in the individual championship.

    In the individual championship, Chhattisgarh has jumped a long jump by winning 1 silver, 2 kasya medals by scoring 8.60 in pole Malkhamb, 8.45 in Hangig, 8.45 in Hangig. Similarly, Monu Netam has won a combined bronze medal in Pol Malkhamb with 8.50 points. Women player Durgeshwari Kummy won a bronze medal with 8.35 points in the pole Malkhamb.

    Chhattisgarh has won 11 medals with 1 silver and 10 bronze medals in the team and personal event from the first day of the Youth Games. Chhattisgarh Sports Director Tanuja Salaam, Anjulas Ekka, Assistant Director Khel, Shivraj Sahu, all sports officials have congratulated and best wishes for winning silver and bronze medals in the individual championship.
