How did the accident happen?
The incident took place on the day of Holi i.e. Friday, March 14, when Richa went to eat with her friends in a dhaba in Anjora. While returning to Bhilai from there, his high speed car uncontrolled and collided with the divider and jumped into the air. CCTV footage shows that the car overturned 5 times and was completely damaged. It is being told that during the accident, Richa tried to jump by opening the door to escape, but she jumped 15 feet and fell near the petrol pump, causing a serious head injury.
Death during treatment in hospital
Richa was immediately rushed to Ramakrishna Care Hospital in Raipur, where her condition remained critical. She went into a coma due to a serious head injury and died during treatment late tonight. At the same time, Mayank Yadav (son of Crime ASI Gupteshwar Yadav, resident of Kohka), Ayush Yadav (25, Resident Industrial Area Housing Board) and Harsh Yadav (24, Kohka, Bhilai resident) are undergoing treatment at Arogyam Hospital.
