Sushil Salaam, Kanker. In 2023, in the murder of Chhattisgarh Army jawan, the NIA arrested 4 Naxal colleagues in Kanker district. The arrested accused include Suresh Salam, Shailendra Baghel, Anduram Salaam along with district members of Antagarh area. The four accused were directly involved in the criminal conspiracy to murder. Please tell that 10 people have been arrested in this case so far.
Significantly, the NIA team is constantly active in Bastar region. On February 28, taking major action in the Chhattisgarh Naxal funding case, Raghu Midiyami, the head of the native Bachao Manch, was arrested by the NIA. Earlier in November 2023, two people were arrested in the same case, from whom Rs 6 lakh cash was recovered. Investigation revealed that both of them were MBM’s overground worker (OGW), who were working to raise and distribute funds for Maoists.
