Ranchi. The Jharkhand Educational Council (JAC) has canceled the examination of both subjects after allegedly leaked on the 10th grade Hindi and science subject question paper and went viral on social media. The Hindi examination was held on 18 February, while the science examination was to be held on 20 February.
The council said in a notice, “All the students, their parents, principals of the respective schools, the examination center superintendents and officials are informed that based on the information received through social media and newspapers, on 18 February. The examination of Hindi (course A and Course B) held in the first shift and the proposed science subject examination in the first shift on 20 February is canceled. ”
The council also informed that the examination of these subjects will be conducted later.
Uma Shankar Singh, Secretary, Department of State School Education and Literacy, told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “Information about the question paper leak has come from Koderma. JAC has sought a report in this regard from the Deputy Commissioner of Koderma in 24 hours. Further action will be taken after receiving the report. ”
Board examinations of 10th (matriculation) and 12th (intermediate) in Jharkhand started from 11 February amid tight security arrangements. This year more than 7.84 lakh students are appearing in the board examinations, which are being conducted in two shifts. The 10th grade examination is being conducted in the first shift (from 9:45 am to 1 pm) and 12th class examination in the second shift (from 2 pm to 5:15 pm).
