    Manipur CM Resignation: The biggest news of this time has come out. Manipur CM N Biren Singh has resigned as CM. He met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda today. After returning from Delhi, he has submitted his resignation to the Governor. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs has asked all security agencies to stay on high alert.

    Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh resigned on Sunday evening. Biren Singh was under considerable pressure due to the violence in the state for 21 months. Opposition parties were also constantly asking NDA on this issue. According to sources, the governor had just asked him to take over as acting CM. Before the resignation, N Biren Singh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi on Sunday morning.

    Last year, Biren Singh also apologized to the people of Manipur for the Manipur violence. Along with this, he wrote that I hope that in the year 2025, the state of the state will become normal.

    Significantly, violence continues between the Kuki-Metai community in Manipur since May 2023. More than 600 days have passed since the violence erupted between the Maetai-Kuki community. From May 2023 to October 2023, 408 firing incidents were reported. 345 incidents took place from November 2023 to April 2024. Since May 2024, 112 incidents have come to light. However, the state has peace from last month. There was no incident of violence. People did not take to the streets even for sporadic performance.
