This spinner has done the feat of taking the fastest 300 wickets in T20 format. These days Hasaranga is a part of the International T-20 League (ILT20) in UAE. Playing for Desert Vipers in the 18th match of this season, he achieved this feat against Sharjah Warriors. He took three wickets in this match. His team Desert Vipers won this match by 8 wickets.
Before Wanindu Hasaranga, the record for taking the fastest 300 T-20 wickets was in the name of Australia’s Andrew Tye, who achieved this feat in 211 matches. Now Hasaranga has gone ahead of him.
