Lakshika Sahu, Raipur. Urban body and three-tier Panchayat elections have been announced in the state. Along with this, politics has also started on this. Chhattisgarh Congress has expressed disagreement over the different dates announced by the State Election Commission for the counting of municipal elections and three-tier Panchayat votes.
In the press conference, the State Election Commission has announced the date of declaration of results of the urban body elections 2025 on 15th February, the first phase of three-tier Panchayat elections on 18th February, the second phase on 21st February and the last phase on 24th February. Now Congress has expressed disagreement on this, for which it will now write a letter to the Election Commission.

Chhattisgarh Congress has now written a letter to the Election Commission demanding the declaration of the results of all the elections on February 24. PCC Chief Deepak Baij has accused the BJP government of influencing the results.
Congress has raised objection regarding two different dates for the results of civic and rural elections. PCC President Deepak Baij said- They talk about One Nation, One Election, whereas the results of civic and panchayat elections are being declared in four phases. They are doing this to influence the results. Congress does not agree with the dates of counting of votes. Congress will write a letter to the Election Commission demanding simultaneous release of the results on February 24.
