Pradeep Gupta, Kawardha. President Draupadi Murmu has sent a special invitation to six members of three special backward tribe Baiga families of Pandariya development block of the district to participate in the 76th Republic Day. Members of Baiga families will participate in the 76th Republic Day celebrations organized on 26 January at the Duty Path in Delhi. This occasion is not only an honor for these families but also for Kabirdham district and the state.
These families received invitation
The families to whom President Murmu has sent a special invitation include Jagatin Bai Baiga of village Patpari and her husband Phool Singh Baiga, a dependent of village Panchayat Kadavani, Titri Bai Baiga and husband Budh Singh Baiga of village Teliapani and Bali Bai Baiga of village Teliapani, Pati Sonu Ram Baiga includes total 6 Baiga members. The Collector has entrusted the responsibility to District CREDA Officer Nand Kumar Gaikwad to safely take these Baiga families of the district to Delhi till the Republic Day celebrations.
Biran will take garland and sweets for President Murmu
Lalluram.com spoke to a member of the Baiga family who was invited. Jagtin Bai, who was going to Delhi by plane with her husband Phool Singh, said that she is very happy with this invitation. This is the first time that the President has invited him and his family on this special occasion. On this occasion, Jagatin Bai will have dinner with President Murmu and will share the development of her village with him. She will take with her Biran garland and sweets for the President.
Jagatin Bai said that her husband earns his living by working as a labourer. If I meet the President, I will demand boring, Anganwadi and hospital in the villages.
He told that before getting electricity there were many problems, there was difficulty in cooking, but with the availability of electricity it has become easier. She has never traveled by plane or train before, this will be the first time that she will go to Delhi by plane.
Let us tell you that these families will also get the honor of attending a special dinner organized with President Draupadi Murmu. Besides, tours will be taken to the Prime Minister’s residence, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and other historical places.
