CG News: Kawardha. Once again there is a long traffic jam in Chilfi Valley. Due to truck breakdown here, traffic on Raipur-Jabalpur National Highway 30 has been disrupted. There was a long queue of vehicles for 20 kilometers. Even small vehicles are facing difficulty in passing.
According to the information, the truck broke down at three different places in Chilfi Valley. Due to the truck breaking down, there is difficulty in moving big and heavy vehicles. The police have stopped all the big vehicles.
The jam did not clear even after 12 hours
There is a jam since 10 pm on Thursday night. The jam has not been cleared even after more than 12 hours. The police have already stopped all the big vehicles from the ghat, due to which the one-way route is open. Efforts are on to somehow evacuate small vehicles and passenger buses. There is a long queue of big vehicles for about 20 kilometers on both sides.
Chilfi police station in-charge Umashankar Rathore said that there was a traffic jam at three different places on Thursday night due to truck breakdown. The police team has been on duty all night and has barely made way for small vehicles. They are trying to remove heavy vehicles from the road, the jam will end soon.
The only route from Raipur to Jabalpur
There is a traffic jam every day in Chilfi Valley, due to which people are troubled. National Highway 30 is the only route from Raipur to Jabalpur. Where thousands of vehicles pass every day, due to which people have to face these problems.
Due to overloading of old vehicles, the vehicle breaks down while climbing the ghat. Due to the narrow width of the road, other big vehicles are not able to pass. There is no scope for taking risks here due to the high mountain on one side of the ghat and the ditch hundreds of feet deep on the other side. This is why a traffic jam occurs here.
