Six new dengue cases were confirmed in the investigation of 44 samples on Sunday. Survey of 6 lakh houses, larvae found in 24 thousand 634 houses. The survey team is giving information to avoid dengue.
Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior. Out of 18 thousand 11 investigations conducted since January till now, 1163 dengue cases have been found. Besides, the trend of finding dengue cases is continuing. On Sunday, six new dengue cases were confirmed in the investigation of 44 samples in the district hospital. After confirmation of the new patients, the malaria team was instructed to collect information about the health of the concerned patient and conduct a larval survey around his house.
The team will go to survey on Monday. To control dengue, health department teams surveyed 688 houses in dengue affected areas on Sunday. In which larvae were found in 52 houses. Which was destroyed on the spot. People were also given information about prevention from dengue. The larva was shown and explained there. Since January till now, 6 lakh 9 thousand 267 houses were surveyed by the survey team of Malaria Department, out of which larvae were found in 24 thousand 634 houses.
On the instructions of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sachin Srivastava, the Health Department team is conducting door-to-door surveys in urban and rural areas as well as making people aware.

District Malaria Officer Dr. Vinod Doneria has appealed to the general public not to allow water to accumulate in and around their homes. Empty the water within seven days. So that dengue disease can be prevented, because dengue mosquitoes breed only in clean and stagnant water. It thrives in clean and stagnant water filled in various utensils, tyres, coolers, tanks, pots, roofs and garbage in and around our house. Mosquitoes lay eggs in such water which hatch into mosquitoes within 7 to 12 days.
