Radio Frequency Identification technology works on chip process. After checking at the entry gates, this band will be tied on the wrist of the devotees. It will be mandatory to deposit it at the counter while returning after Aarti.
Naiduniya Representative, Ujjain (Mahakal Bhasmarti). Now it will be mandatory for the devotees coming to see the Bhasma Aarti of Lord Mahakal to wear Radio Frequency ID (RFID) band. The temple committee may start this facility on an experimental basis after Diwali to prevent unauthorized entry into Bhasma Aarti.
The temple committee has been trying for a long time to make the Bhasma Aarti Darshan system transparent and corruption free. From time to time, modern technology has been used for this. Many years ago the committee stopped manual receipt and started computerized receipt.
After this a barcode was put on it. Later the facility of checking receipt etc. through barcode reader started and now there is a plan to use RFID technology.
This is how technology will work
Temple administrator Ganesh Kumar Dhakad said that radio frequency identification technology works on chip process. In this, the complete information of the person is fed. It can be tied as a band on the wrist.
At the time of entering Bhasmarti, this band will be tied on the hands of the devotees after checking at various entry gates including Mansarovar. After this, the devotees will keep the band tied throughout the Bhasma Aarti. It will be mandatory to deposit it at the counter while returning after the Aarti is over.
This arrangement will also be implemented for Mahakal Darshan.
Administrator Dhakad said that if the system is effective, then in the coming days this system will be implemented in the darshan of Lord Mahakal also. Flap barriers will be installed at the entry gate of the temple. The flap barriers will open automatically for the devotees wearing RFID bands.
