Navduniya Representative, Bhopal. ROB will land near Shri Khedapati Hanuman Temple at Chhola via Dwarika Nagar near Bhopal station platform number one. Its length will be approximately 610 meters and width will be 9.50 meters. This will be Bhopal’s first ROB which will cross six railway tracks. This ROB will be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 90 crore.

It will be constructed by Railways. In the first phase, the government has given an amount of approximately Rs 72 crore to the Railways. Soon the work will be started after its Bhoomi Pujan. This bridge will be built in one and a half years. On Thursday, Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the construction site of the proposed railway over bridge near Nishatpura Coach Factory under Narela Assembly.

Will get relief from traffic problem

The minister said that at present small vehicles have to pass through a culvert to go from Bhopal platform 1 towards Chhola. Whereas big trains have to take a long detour from Bharat Talkies ROB to go from station platform 1 towards Chhola. With the construction of this ROB, one will not have to make a long journey of 15 kilometers. Besides, the residents of the area will also get relief from traffic problems. With its construction, road connectivity with old and new Bhopal and surrounding areas including Vidisha, Berasia will be strengthened.

Those traveling from Nishatpura station will get benefits

Many trains depart from Bairagarh directly via Nishatpura. Currently, due to lack of proper connectivity, passengers have to go to Bairagarh to catch their train. With the construction of ROB, passengers will be able to catch their train directly from Nishatpura station without going to Bairagarh.
