Case filed against Ekta Kapoor: A case has been registered against producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor under the POCSO Act. Both are accused of showing obscene scenes of minor girls in an episode of season 6 of OTT platform ALT Balaji’s web series ‘Gandii Baat’. This complaint has been filed against the old producer of this app, Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor. However, this controversial episode is not currently streaming on this app.

It was said from her side that there is nothing objectionable in the web series. The police registered the case without investigating or listening to the parties. It should be repealed. The investigation of this matter is still going on.
