A major accident took place in Barpali village on Wednesday when a speeding uncontrolled pickup vehicle fell into a canal. 20 people traveling in the pickup had fallen into the canal, out of which 17 people were immediately taken out safely with the help of JCB. Three children had gone missing and a thorough search was conducted and the body of one child was recovered yesterday. Today, after two days, the bodies of two other missing children have been found.
According to the information received, the two children missing in the pickup accident, whose bodies were found today, have been identified as Rishabh Mahant (6 years) and Bhuru Mahant (8 years). The body of one child was found stuck in the village Belchua canal gate, while the body of another child was washed away in the pond of village Ragja. The bodies of both the children have been recovered and sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
Let us tell you that the body of the missing child whose body was found on Thursday was identified as Indra Kumar Jaiswal (9 years). Father Ashok Jaiswal, who was deeply saddened by the loss of his son, also became a victim of a road accident. The seriously injured father is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
