Raipur. Shram Samman Rashi will be provided to the daily wage earners of the Forest Department, in which about 6100 daily wage employees of the state will get this honour. This decision has been taken on the initiative of Chief Minister Sai, under which the employees will get this amount at the rate of Rs 4 thousand per month. The government has allocated Rs 12.34 crore for this.
BJP will run active member campaign
BJP membership campaign is going on in the state. Meanwhile, now BJP is going to run an active member campaign between 16th to 30th October, the aim of which is to make 1 lakh active members. Under this campaign, workshops will be organized in all the districts from 11 to 14 October, in which senior leaders of the party will participate. After this, verification of active membership forms will be done from 1st to 4th November.
Deputy CM Arun Sao will participate in the housing fair
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will be on a tour of Mungeli district today. During this time he will participate in the housing fair at the district headquarters. As per the schedule, he will leave for Mungeli by road from Bilaspur on October 11 at 12 noon. He will attend the Prime Minister’s Awas Mela organized at the agricultural produce market premises of Mungeli at 1 pm. Deputy CM Sao will leave from Mungeli for Bilaspur at 4 pm. They will reach back to Bilaspur at five in the evening.
Mahadev Satta app kingpin Saurabh Chandrakar arrested
Saurabh Chandrakar, the main accused in the Rs 6000 crore scam related to Mahadev online betting app, has been arrested in Dubai. This action was taken on the basis of Interpol’s Red Corner Notice, which was issued on the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In this matter, ED, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) have jointly taken a major action.
Notice issued to DPO for negligence in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana
The Collector has taken a tough stance on negligence in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana in Bilaspur. The Collector has issued a show-cause notice to District Project Officer (DPO) Suresh Singh due to laxity in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. The Collector expressed his displeasure over not getting the benefits of the schemes especially to the children of Baiga and Birhor community. The Collector has given instructions for quick action and effective implementation of schemes to improve the Women and Child Development Department.
Saras Mela-2024 in Jagdalpur from tomorrow
Regional Saras Fair-2024 is being organized from 12 to 19 October at Lalbagh Ground in Jagdalpur city. The inauguration ceremony of Regional Saras Fair 2024-Bastar will be held on October 12 at 11 am. The program will be presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Home Minister Vijay Sharma. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap will be the chief guest of the program and Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap, MLA Jagdalpur Kiran Dev, MLA Chitrakot Vinayak Goyal, MLA Bastar Lakheshwar Baghel, District Panchayat President Vedwati Kashyap, Mayor Safira Sahu will be present as special guests of the program.
