Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. An abandoned newborn girl was found lying near the railway track in Aishbagh area of the old city on Wednesday morning. Someone had kept the girl in a sack and kept it there. When people passing through the area heard the crying of the newborn girl, they opened the sack. They took the girl out of the sack and informed the police. Aishbagh police reached the spot, took the girl into custody and sent her to Kamala Nehru Children’s Hospital. The age of the girl is said to be one or two days. The condition of the girl is currently stable.
DCP Priyanka Shukla said that on Wednesday morning people heard the sound of a child crying in Bagh Umrao Dulha area of Aishbagh area. When I looked around, I saw movement in the yellow sack.
