Let us tell you that KK Srivastava is accused of taking about fifteen crore rupees from Delhi businessman Ashok Rawat, owner of Rawat Associates, in the name of getting the contract for other works including smart city under the Congress government and on not getting the contract, he was arrested on 17 September 2023. After this, when the money was not received till the stipulated day, Ashok Rawat warned of filing a complaint in the police station, then he returned Rs 3 crore 40 lakh from Kanchan Srivastava’s account to different accounts and gave three checks of Rs 3 crore each. Later all three checks bounced.

According to the investigation, the matter is not limited to just Rs 15 crore, but transactions worth more than Rs 300 crore have taken place in the accounts of KK Srivastava. Which has been transferred to fake companies. The surprising thing is that these accounts are in the names of residents of EWS houses. The police have handed over its investigation to the Income Tax Department. It is being told that ED can also start investigating this matter soon.
