State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. The team of Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh ATS and Narcotics Control Bureau, Delhi has achieved the biggest success so far in the ongoing operation against MD drugs. The investigating agencies, while conducting a raid in a factory in Bagroda industrial area of Bhopal, have seized MD drug and the raw material used in its manufacturing. Its price is said to be more than Rs 1800 crore. The investigating agencies have also arrested two people from here.
Gujarat Home Minister congratulated
Gujarat Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi congratulated the team for the recovery of huge quantity of drugs. He himself has said that this is the biggest action so far. Posting on his X handle, he wrote – ‘Congratulations to Gujarat ATS and Delhi NCB team on their big victory in the fight against drugs. Recently, a raid was conducted on a factory in Bhopal and MD (drugs) and the substance used to make it were recovered, which is worth Rs 1814 crore.
He further wrote, ‘This achievement reflects the tireless efforts of our law enforcement agencies in fighting drug trafficking. Their efforts are important for the safety and health of our society. His dedication is truly praiseworthy. Continue to support them in their mission to make India a safe and healthy nation.
