Naiduniya Representative, Ratlam: A five-year-old girl was sexually exploited in a private school in the city by a 16-year-old student of the same school. Parents and people became angry regarding the matter. Parents reached outside the school in large numbers and started protesting by sitting on the road and shouting slogans. Due to this, a situation of commotion was created there.
Police and district administration officials reached there and took charge. The administration closed the school and evacuated the school director, principal, teachers and employees safely from the back gate and sealed the school.

The case is of September 28, where a student was sexually exploited by the minor son of a school employee. On the complaint of the student’s mother, the Industrial Area Police registered a case against the accused student and took him into custody. The police produced him in the Children’s Court, from where he was sent to the Child Care Home.
After the school opened on Monday morning, at around 9.30 am, parents, workers of various organizations etc. gathered outside the school and started demanding action against the school management. After some time, SDM Anil Bhana, Tehsildar Rishabh Thakur, CSP Abhinav Warange, station in-charge VD Joshi etc. reached the spot and discussed with the protesters.

Seeing the increasing uproar, the administration first dismissed the school and sent the children along with their parents to their homes through the back side of the school. When the school management and teachers were being taken out from the back side, people also reached there and started raising slogans.
SDM and CSP also kept trying to convince the parents but the protesters kept expressing their anger for a long time. Police force was deployed outside the school. Parents said that CCTV should be installed in the entire school premises. They should also be given their ID, so that they can also see the children.
Demand to close schools
Additional Collector Dr. Shalini Srivastava, ASP Rakesh Khakha also reached the school and discussed with the protesting people. Due to excessive noise and sloganeering, the officers stood on the chair and took the mike and assured that whatever complaint they have, please give it in writing, investigation will be done and action will be taken. Parents say that the school should be kept closed until security arrangements are made, it is currently locked and sealed. The school will remain closed until adequate security arrangements are made.
