Naiduniya representative, Damoh. A truck and a passenger auto collided on Tuesday afternoon in Samanna village of Dehat police station area of Katni State Highway in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh. In which the truck crushed the auto. Seven people died in this accident and 2 people are seriously injured. Information about who were the people riding in the auto is not available. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar and SP Shrut Kirti Somvanshi are sending the injured people to Jabalpur Medical College for treatment. For which a corridor has been built from Damoh to Jabalpur. Also, pilot and follow vehicles are being provided so that there is no obstruction on the route from Damoh to Jabalpur, the ambulance can reach the medical college with these injured on time and the treatment of the injured can start. As soon as the information about the accident was received on Monday afternoon, the SDRF team along with the Dehat police station police, the Collector and SP reached the spot and the auto was pulled out with the help of a crane. Also, the people buried under the truck were immediately brought to the district hospital for treatment. Where seven people have been declared dead. Currently, 2 have been referred to Jabalpur Medical College due to their critical condition. No identification has been made of the dead and injured.
The SP said that since the auto is registered locally, the people who were going somewhere in the auto must have been from the vicinity. The first priority is to start treatment of the injured immediately so that their lives can be saved. The police have caught the truck driver and are interrogating him. The driver Neeraj Singh Lodhi (22), a resident of Buxwaha in Chhatarpur district, is drunk. The police have taken him to the district hospital for medical examination. He is so drunk that he is in no condition to speak anything. At present, only his name and village information have been obtained. The auto driver has not been identified yet.
