The government is run from the village and not from Ranchi headquarters: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that I am continuously touring the state. I just come to see whether the government is running from the village or not. I am listening to the people by going to every village and also communicating with them through online medium. I am trying to know whether the schemes that the state government is making for you are reaching you or not. The Chief Minister said that for half the population of the state, “Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana” is such a scheme, a step which is going to prove to be a milestone for this state in women empowerment. The Chief Minister said that our government is running from the village, not from Ranchi Headquarters. The above things were said by Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren in his address in the “Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar” program organized at Dhanukdih ground under Kundhit block of Jamtara district today.

A long streak of development has been drawn in the last 4 years

The Chief Minister said that during the Corona period, our government had done the work of bringing back the migrant laborers stranded in different states of the country. During the global pandemic Corona infection, the sisters of the state cooked food and fed the people in every village and locality. The role of our sisters was important during the Corona infection period. The Chief Minister said that at that time I had resolved that the state government would definitely help the sisters. The Chief Minister said that 4 years ago, very few people used to get pension in the state under social security, but our government made a law that all eligible beneficiaries should be linked to pension. Today no eligible needy person is left out of the pension scheme. The Chief Minister said that the work done by the present government in the last 4 years was not done in the last 20 years. Despite all the challenges, the state government has done the work of continuously bringing the development schemes on the ground. In the last 4 years, our government has drawn a long line of development in every field.

200 units of electricity free, old electricity bill also waived

Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that 11 lakh ration cards were deleted in the state by the previous government. The present state government made 20 lakh new green ration cards and distributed them among the poor. The Chief Minister said that our government also distributes ration by purchasing grains from the open market. We kept requesting the central government for three years to provide housing to the poor people of this state, but housing was not allotted to the poor, finally we took a decision and now our government will provide Abua housing to the poor people of the state. Within the coming 5 years, all 20 lakh poor people will be covered by Abua housing. The Chief Minister said that our government has made electricity free up to 200 units of electricity consumers in the state and has waived the old outstanding electricity bills up to 200 units. The Chief Minister said that our government has worked to solve the problems and troubles of the employees working in various departments of the state government including Anganwadi Sahayika, Sevika, Jal Sahia.

All classes and communities are getting the benefit of the schemes

Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that the state government is providing the benefits of schemes to people of every caste, community and every class within the state. Schemes have not been made for any particular caste. Mothers and sisters of all classes and communities are also getting the benefit of “Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana”. Our government does not discriminate against anyone in the implementation of schemes.

Energization of 132/33 kV (2×50 MVA) Grid Sub-station Unshielded and associated double path LILO transmission line

On this occasion, 132/33 KV (2×50 MVA) Grid Sub-Station Kundhit and related double path LILO transmission line were energized. This grid sub-station has been constructed with the joint efforts of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren and Assembly Speaker Shri Rabindranath Mahato. Its energized capacity is 2 x 50 MVA (100 MVA) from which power is to be supplied to several power sub-stations respectively 33 KV Nala, Kundhit, Bamandiha, Fatehpur etc., so that power supply can be ensured to the residents of the benefited blocks Nala, Kundhit, Bamandiha and Fatehpur area, these grid sub-stations are capable of bearing the power load for the next 15 to 20 years. The construction of this project has cost approximately Rs 82.37 crore. Electricity supply to this newly constructed grid will be provided from 132/33 KV grid sub-stations located at Jamtara and Madhupur. After energizing this grid, about 80 MW additional electricity will be supplied, due to which lakhs of people of various areas of Jamtara district like Nala, Kundhit, Bamandiha and Fatehpur etc. will be directly/indirectly benefited and will get rid of the problem of low voltage. This grid sub-station has been constructed with the aim of supplying quality electricity to the respected residents in view of the 30-year vision of the government.

The Chief Minister gave these gifts to Dumka and Jamtara districts..

In the program “Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar”, the Chief Minister gave a gift of about 875 crore rupees to Dumka and Jamtara districts. Where various development schemes were inaugurated and assets worth about 30697.5 lakh rupees were distributed among 4,77,715 beneficiaries of both the districts. The Chief Minister directly communicated with the beneficiaries of various panchayats of both the districts through video conferencing. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone and distributed assets of schemes worth 710 crore 57 lakh 23 thousand rupees among 263734 beneficiaries of Jamtara district. At the same time, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone and distributed assets of schemes worth 164 crore 99 lakh rupees among a total of 213981 beneficiaries of Dumka district. In this, 275 schemes worth Rs. 40428.98 lakh were inaugurated and foundation stone was laid for under Jamtara district and 23 schemes worth Rs. 95.74 lakh were inaugurated and foundation stone was laid for under Dumka district. Forest pattas for 66 acres of land were distributed among the beneficiaries on the occasion.

On this occasion, Nala MLA-cum-Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato, Minister Shri Satyanand Bhokta, Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari, MP Nalin Soren, District Council President Joyce Besra, Radharani Soren, Commissioner Santhal Pargana Division, DIG, besides Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Dumka and Jamtara districts and district administration officials were present.
