Navdunia Representative, Betul Betul Crime News: A case of brutally beating a youth has come to light in Multai police station of the district. The youth was caught on suspicion of selling narcotics and brought to the police station, where his hands were tied and he was hung from the window and the sub-inspector beat him badly. The video of this incident has also surfaced, which became widely circulated on the internet media. On receiving a complaint in this case, Superintendent of Police Nischal Jharia has suspended the sub-inspector.
The victim Ajay Farkade said that he sells bread and biscuits at the bus stand. On September 18, two policemen from Multai police station took him away. At the police station, sub-inspector Sunil Sareyam threatened him accusing him of selling drugs and tied his hands to the window with a rope and beat him with a pipe. The video of the beating is being circulated on the internet media. The victim Ajay complained to the Superintendent of Police and demanded action against the culprits. Taking the matter seriously, the Superintendent of Police has suspended the accused sub-inspector.
