In this case, the police have arrested 69 villagers including 33 women on suspicion of murder. Meanwhile, on 19 September, Prashant Sahu, who was imprisoned on murder charges, died in jail. Deep injury marks have been found on the body of the deceased, due to which the villagers allege that Prashant Sahu died in jail due to police beating.
