Two Special DGs and one ADG are pushing for the post of DG EOW. There are a total of 12 posts in the state including five cadre posts of DG. One more ADG will get the opportunity to become Special DG.
State Bureau Naidaniya. Bhopal. Many Special DGs of police are in trouble because they were posted at the same place even after being made Special DG. They were promoted from ADG to Special DG, but their posting was kept at the same place. On the contrary, despite the post of DG Training Cadre being there, instead of any Special DG, ADG Sonali Mishra is posted there.
Even after the retirement of Director Investigation and Special DG Sushma Singh on 31 August, no one has been posted there yet. In such a situation, the government is preparing to transfer some Special DGs and ADGs from one place to another soon. In the hope of this, some Special DGs are also putting efforts for a good posting.
Two Special DGs and an ADG posted at the Police Headquarters are trying hard to become the DG of EOW. At present, Special DG Ajay Sharma is posted here. After the retirement of DGP Sudhir Saxena in November, his name is also not being considered for the post of DGP. For this reason, three officers have their eyes on this post.
There are a total of 12 posts in the state including five cadre posts of DG. Apart from DGP, the cadre posts include the posts of DG Home Guard, Chairman MP Police Housing Corporation, DG Jail and DG Training. There are two Special DGs in the corporation, among whom Kailash Makwana is the chairman and Upendra Jain is the MD. When DGP Sudhir Saxena retires in November, another ADG will get the opportunity to become Special DG.
