In this series, a four-member team of Industrial Development Corporation visited Chennai to establish a mega footwear cluster in Sitapur Industrial Area of ​​Morena district and gathered useful information regarding leather and footwear industrial units. Chennai is considered the most prominent center of leather and footwear in India.

On the same lines and with even more modern methods, the state government is making efforts in Sitapur. During the Chennai tour, the team of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation visited export based units like India Shoes Export Private Limited, KH Exports India Private Limited, AV Thomas Leather and Allied Products and Tritan Works Private Limited and understood the specialties of the place.

Also, important information related to footwear was obtained. Apart from this, the team also inspected the treatment plant of Tanners Industrial Effluent Treatment Company Limited of Pallivaram and obtained information regarding setting up this treatment plant. Efforts are also being made by the department to invite investors and reputed companies already working in this enterprise in Sitapur Footwear Park. Many investors have also expressed in-principle consent to come here.

The center is solving the problems of entrepreneurs

The Chief Minister had virtually inaugurated the investment promotion centers. The “Investment Promotion Center” is operating in the Collectorate. This center is not only resolving the queries of entrepreneurs and investors but also providing them information about grants and other facilities for setting up enterprises. District Industry Center Manager Rajendra Singh said that Manish Rajput, a resident of village Susaira, and other entrepreneurs had come. Manish Rajput wants to set up a cardboard factory with his own resources.
