Lucknow. The weather department has issued an alert regarding rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. There is an alert of heavy rain in the entire state from 10 to 15 September. Heavy rain with strong winds may occur in eastern UP on 10 and 11 September.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many areas of UP on Tuesday. An orange alert has been issued for rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh and surrounding areas. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for rain in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Kanpur Nagar, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas.
The weather department has predicted the possibility of thunder and lightning in the capital city of Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Gorakhpur and Sant Kabir Nagar.
