Vikram Mishra, Lucknow. The Armed Forces Festival will begin today at the Surya Khel Parisar located in the Cantonment of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the route will be diverted from 9 am today till the end of the program.
Today’s traffic will be like this: Traffic will be disrupted from Kunwar Jagdish Chauraha towards Surya Sports Complex, Kariappa Chauraha. Normal traffic facility will remain closed today from Cariappa Chauraha towards Surya Sports Complex. This traffic can go via Lalkurti Tiraha, Subhani Kheda Chauraha or Nehru Chauraha. Normal traffic facility will remain suspended from Valmiki Chauraha towards Atal Road Tiraha. All types of traffic will be banned between Cariappa Chauraha and Kunwar Jagdish Chauraha. Traffic can be banned from Jail House Chauraha towards Kunwar Jagdish Chauraha if required.

The three-day Armed Forces Festival is going to start from today, Tuesday, at Surya Sports Complex in Lucknow Cantt. This festival will start from 3rd September and will continue till 5th September. It will run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During this, people will be able to know and see the latest weapon systems and equipment of the Army, Navy and Air Force. During this, the power of the armed forces will be displayed here.
