Four people died when a tractor trolley full of pilgrims going to the pilgrimage site Jatashankar in Chhatarpur district on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya under Fatehpur police station of Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh overturned. While 6 seriously injured among the other people have been admitted to the district hospital while more than two dozen people were injured slightly.
Superintendent of Police Shrut Kirti Somvanshi said that on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya, some passengers from village Ghughash under Batiagarh police station of Damoh district were going to the pilgrimage site Jatashankar in Chhatarpur district in a tractor trolley. In this accident, Hemendra father Bhagwandas Adivasi age 10 years resident of Ghughas and woman Chhoti Bai husband Manu Gond age 45 years resident of Ghughas, Laxman father Tilli Adivasi age 17 years and Ganjali daughter-in-law 50 years died, while 11 year old Chittar Rajgound, 10 year old Kalpana, tractor owner 45 year old Param Lodhi, 12 year old Balla Adivasi, Kunar Adivasi age 20 years, Mamta 40 years have been admitted for treatment in the district hospital.
