Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will participate in various programs today. As per the schedule, CM Sai will participate in the National Deworming Day program at JR Dani Girls School at 12.05 pm. At 12.30 pm, he will participate in the State Sports Awards ceremony organized at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. After that at 3.30 pm, CM Sai will go to the Tribal Research and Training Institute.

Chief Minister’s public darshan to be held today postponed

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai holds public darshan every week on Thursday. But today on Thursday, public darshan has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

Congress’s performance

The Congress party will stage a sit-in protest today. The protest will be held in Durg district regarding the lathicharge and FIR against Congress workers during the protest. Congress workers will stage a sit-in protest in all the district headquarters of the state.

Chief Minister will award the players in the State Sports Decoration Ceremony

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will award the talented players of the state in the State Sports Decoration Ceremony today. The State Sports Decoration Ceremony is being organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur from 12 noon. In the program, the state government will honor 06 players for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award for the year 2021-22, 06 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 02 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 11 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman and 11 players for Chief Minister Trophy year 2021-22.

Similarly, for the year 2022-23, 04 players will be awarded with trophies for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, 07 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 01 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 15 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman and 24 selected players for Chief Minister Trophy for the year 2022-23.

Sports department officials informed that for the award years 2021-22 and 2022-23, prize money of Rs. 76 lakh will be given to 97 awardee players, Rs. 60.33 lakh will be transferred to the bank accounts of 502 medal winning players, in this manner, players will get Rs. 01 crore 36 lakh 33 thousand.

Chief Minister wishes on National Sports Day

CM Vishnudev Sai has congratulated and wished the people of the state, players and sports lovers on National Sports Day 29 August. CM Sai said that in honor and memory of Major Dhyanchand, who is considered the magician of hockey, we celebrate his birthday as Sports Day every year. Remembering the contribution of Major Dhyanchand in the field of sports, CM Sai said that Dhyanchand ji displayed his amazing sports talent in hockey and won gold medal for India three times in the Olympics. He has made Indians proud with his game.

Chief Minister Sai said that sports have great importance in life. Sports develop qualities like leadership, dedication, discipline in personality which help to succeed in every field of life. The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is making every possible effort to encourage and promote the sports talent of the state. He said that there are immense possibilities for the youth in the field of sports. International level sports infrastructure has been created in Chhattisgarh including the formation of Sports Development Authority to promote players at national and international level.

National Deworming Day will be celebrated today

National Deworming Day is being organized in Chhattisgarh today. All children and adolescents aged 1 to 19 years in the state will be given deworming medicine in Anganwadi centers, government schools, health centers, subsidized private schools and technical education institutes. Giving deworming medicine is necessary for good health, better nutrition, access to regular education and improvement in the quality of life of children and adolescents. Deputy Director of Child Health Program Dr. V.R. Bhagat said that a target has been set to give deworming medicine to 1 crore 7 lakh 97 thousand children and adolescents aged 1 to 19 years in the state.

Two day national conference of agricultural engineers from today

The 36th National Conference and National Seminar on ‘Contribution of Agricultural Engineers in Improving Rural Economy for Sustainable Development’ is being organized at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Raipur on 29 and 30 August 2024. This important program will be inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh on 29 August at 10:45 am. Agriculture Development and Farmer Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam will preside over the function. In this program, Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Dr. Girish Chandel, Chairman of Central Ground Water Board Dr. Sunil K. Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan on a visit to Balod district

After that, he will leave for Balod from Shankar Nagar Raipur at 2 pm and reach the district headquarters Balod at 4 pm. There he will participate in the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of Devangan Samaj organized at Town Hall Balod. After that, he will leave from Balod at 5.40 pm and return to Raipur late in the evening at 7.40 pm.
