Naiduniya Representative, Indore: The next day of Goga Navami festival, i.e. on Wednesday, August 28, the city’s Safai Mitras will be on leave. On this day, the city’s cleaning system will run with public cooperation. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava will take part in the cleanliness drive at Rajwada. Apart from this, regional public representatives and the general public have been appealed to join the cleanliness drive.
Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma said that in order to ensure that the cleanliness system is not affected, various organizations, residents along with the local public representatives, as well as Municipal officials will run a Swachhagrahi public participation campaign in their respective zones and wards at various places in the city.

Mayor Bhargava will start this campaign at Rajwada on Wednesday at 7 am. He said that Safai Mitras are always in the field throughout the year regardless of the weather. It is our responsibility to keep Indore clean even on the day they are on leave.
At various places, regional MLAs, councillors, citizens, public representatives along with resident organisations, social organisations, religious organisations, banking organisations, market associations, Swayamsevak Sangh, NGOs etc. will take part in the campaign.
