Ranchi. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, after returning to Ranchi after camping in Delhi for two days, has said that he will form a new party. 12 hours after returning from Delhi to Seraikela via Kolkata, Champai Soren announced the formation of a separate organization at his residence on Wednesday, 21 August. He said- We are not going to retire from politics. The chapter we have started will keep changing. We will strengthen the new organization. If we find a friend on the way, we will befriend him.
On the question of having less time to form a new party in view of the assembly elections, Champai Soren said – what problem do you have with this. When 30 to 40 thousand workers came in three to four days, then what problem do we have in forming a new party. He further said that everything will be clear in seven days. It is worth noting that earlier there was talk of him joining BJP. But he himself had written on social media recently that he has three options. In that he had kept the option of forming a new organization.
However, on the question of remaining a minister in the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand, Champai said – We have already said that we are starting a new chapter. If we start a new chapter, will we stay at one place or two? Public support has boosted our morale. This is what made us move forward now. On when he will resign from the post of minister, he said that the time will tell. He also posted on the social media platform X, in which he wrote – Thank you Jharkhand! For this love, cooperation and support. For the last four and a half decades, I have been fighting for the issues of the common people, and your blessings are encouraging me to take the right decision in this new chapter of life. At present, I am meeting the public. Taking retirement is no longer an option. An appropriate decision will be taken soon based on the opinion of all the people.
