Haridwar. Mahamandaleshwar Pilot Baba of Juna Akhara has passed away. He was ill for a long time and breathed his last in Apollo Hospital, Delhi. His last journey will be in Haridwar, where he will be buried.
Let us tell you that Pilot Baba was born in a military family. He held the post of Wing Commander in the Indian Air Force and played the role of a fighter pilot in two wars with Pakistan. After this military career, he took sanyaas and adopted a religious life, which earned him fame as “Pilot Baba”.

After retirement, Pilot Baba guided his disciples and devotees as Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara. His teachings and devotion influenced many people and he created a large religious following.
