Diarrhea spreads in Balodabazar, more than 40 people are ill, now the health department has woken up

Balodabazar Arvind Mishra. The health department seems to be troubled due to the continuous spread of diarrhea in Balodabazar district. Collector Deepak Soni has asked the health department to remain alert. The latest case has come from Karamda, where suddenly people complained of vomiting and diarrhea since last evening and more than 40 people fell ill within no time. The health staff is treating patients by setting up a camp in the village itself. More than 10 patients have been admitted to the district hospital. The village is silent due to the outbreak of diarrhea.

The villagers said that under the Nal Jal Yojana, the pipes of the water being supplied have leakage in many places and people have drunk this dirty water, after which all the bores of the village have been closed. Water is being supplied to the village through water tankers.

Dr. Abhijit Banerjee said that since last evening, all the diarrhea patients coming are being treated by setting up a camp in the village. Medicines are available in sufficient quantity and the situation is under control. About nine patients have been admitted to the district hospital. People are being advised to drink boiled water.

Public announcement is also being made through the Kotwar. Dr. Banerjee said that I will appeal to all the villagers of the district to maintain cleanliness and drink boiled water and also contact the government medical department if there is vomiting or diarrhea.
