Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. The education department has taken major action against teachers who have been absent from school for a long time. The department has terminated the services of two teachers. Joint Director of Education Department R.P. Aditya has taken action in this regard. This matter is of Government Pre-Secondary School Matiyari and Government Pre-Secondary School Mahmand.
According to the information, teacher LB Renuka Rai of Government Pre Madhyamik School Matiyari of Bilha block of Bilaspur district was absent from school since 6 June 2016. Her services have been terminated due to continuous absence and not returning to duty. On the other hand, teacher Kekati Kaushik of Government Pre Madhyamik School Mahmand was absent from school for the last 3 years. She had applied for voluntary termination of service, which was accepted and her service has been terminated.
