Chit fund accused arrested from Bhopal, was absconding for 6 years, has cheated hundreds of people of Rs 10 crore

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Police has got a big success in the case of chit fund fraud. Police has arrested the wanted accused who was absconding from Bhopal for the last 6 years. Seven cases were registered against the accused Arun Verma in different police stations of Bilaspur district. One case was also registered in Sarangarh Bilaigarh district.

Actually, the accused used to commit fraud by forming a chit fund company in the name of Career Dream Education Academy. He had defrauded hundreds of people of about Rs 10 crore. After committing the crime, the accused was absconding for 6 years. The SP of the district had also announced a reward for giving information about the accused.

The absconding accused kept misleading the police by staying in different cities across the country. Currently, he was living in Alwar, Rajasthan and had kept his family hidden in Bhopal. Meanwhile, the police raided Bhopal and arrested the accused and confiscated his property and started further action.
