Indore. The police has arrested the accused who threatened to blow up IIT Simrol with a bomb. Rural SP Hitika Vasal has confirmed this. The name of the accused is Chetan Soni. The accused is said to be a resident of Badnagar in Ujjain district. The police will give information about the entire case in a press conference today.

According to the police, the accused has done MCA. He had applied for a job in a company, but was disappointed. After this, he created a fake ID and sent an email threatening a bomb blast. The youth did this only to spread terror.

It is noteworthy that on July 17, an email was sent to IIT Simrol threatening to blow it up with a bomb on August 15. After this, police officers and cyber team were investigating the matter. It has also come to light that the youth had applied for a job in IIT in the year 2022.
