Monsoon Alert: Madhya Pradesh will receive 7% more rain than normal, Indore and Ujjain will receive heavy rainfall

Presently, a cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air over central Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining southern parts.

Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal. The low pressure area has weakened and has transformed into a cyclone in the upper part of the air. Currently, it is active over the central and southern regions of Madhya Pradesh. The monsoon trough is passing through Madhya Pradesh.

According to meteorologists, heavy rains may occur at many places in the districts of Indore and Ujjain divisions on Monday. There is a possibility of light showers at some places in the districts of Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions. Let us tell you that in this season, from June 1 to 8:30 am on July 28, a total of 447.4 mm rain has occurred in the state, which is 7 percent more than the normal rainfall (418.4 mm).

According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, currently a cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air over central and southern parts of Madhya Pradesh. The monsoon trough is formed from Bikaner, Kota, Damoh, Pendra Road, Balasore to the Bay of Bengal. An offshore trough is formed from South Gujarat to North Kerala. A shear zone of opposite winds is formed over Maharashtra.

Due to the effect of weather systems formed at different places, moisture is continuously coming from the Bay of Bengal as well as the Arabian Sea. Due to this, it is raining in most of the districts of the state. On Monday, there is a possibility of heavy rain at many places in the districts of Indore and Ujjain division. How much rain fell where

On Sunday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Ujjain recorded 68 mm rainfall, Indore 61 mm, Betul 46 mm, Jabalpur 35 mm, Bhopal 26 mm, Narmadapuram and Pachmarhi 20 mm, Dhar 13 mm, Mandla 10 mm, Malajkhand and Raisen 9 mm, Khargone 8 mm, Ratlam and Chhindwara, Charal Damoh recorded 3 mm, Satna and Guna recorded 2 mm and Khajuraho recorded 0.2 mm rainfall.
