Eco clubs will be formed in all the schools of Chhattisgarh

Under the new education policy 2020, Mission Life will also be celebrated on 27th July in all the schools of Chhattisgarh as part of the nationwide education week. Under this, eco clubs will be formed in schools to create awareness among children about the importance of environmental conservation.

Tree plantation will be done through Eco Club under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan. Eco Club members will be sworn in front of the community on 27th July. On this day, at least 35 saplings will be planted in each school and the responsibility of their care and maintenance will be given to school children. The School Education Department has given guidelines for the formation of new Eco Clubs for Mission Life in schools. According to the instructions issued, the school principal will be the head and patron of the Eco Club. Post Graduate Teacher will be in charge of Eco Club. 4-5 students from each class will be included in Eco Clubs. For Mission Life, one student will be made the Eco President of the club.
