Nitin Namdev, Raipur. Amid the growing political tension over law and order in the state, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has released the data of six months. On the basis of these figures, he claimed to deal with Naxalism in a better way and said that if during the tenure of Congress, a case has not been registered against anyone and still someone is left, then a case will be registered against him too.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, while referring to the action taken by the government to deal with Naxalism, said that about 150 Naxalites have been killed within 6 months. At the same time, about 526 Naxalites have surrendered. 633 Naxalites have been arrested.

At the same time, referring to Bilaspur Congress leader Akbar Khan, he said that the application was made in January 2022. But the crime was not registered, in which all the crimes have been registered now.

He said that earlier FIRs were not registered in such cases, but now they are being registered. The police has been ordered not to bother about statistics. There has been a decrease in cases of murder, riot, robbery and rape. Cases are being registered under the Excise Act.

Regarding the assembly session starting from Monday, he said that a supplementary budget will also be presented. There will also be a discussion about all the departments. There are many questions, appropriate answers will be presented to all the questions.

More than 150 arrested in Balodabazar case

In the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha, when the Congress raised the issue of law and order along with the Balodabazar incident, it was told that more than 150 people have been arrested in the Balodabazar case. The investigation is ongoing. This case has been done conspiratorially by some responsible people. Along with this, the Congress has been accused of gheraoing the Vidhan Sabha only for protest and politics.
