Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. A case of assault on a policeman has come to light. A youth slapped a uniformed policeman in the middle of the road and then beat him up. The incident took place in Chapora village of Ratanpur police station area of Bilaspur district. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. The video of the incident is said to be two days old.
Let us tell you that two days ago, a person was seriously injured in a fight between two parties near Chapora in Ratanpur area. The local people had informed Dial 112 about the accident but the police did not reach there. Due to this, Itwar Singh Paikara had gone there to take him to the hospital. When the 112 team arrived, a dispute broke out between the two.
During this time constable Mahendra Rajwada posted in Dial 112 reached the spot. After this he stopped Itwar Singh Paikara from going to the hospital. Itwar Singh started saying that the injured should be taken to the hospital soon. On this constable Mahendra Rajwada started showing his dominance. Fed up with this behaviour, Itwar got angry and slapped him. After which a scuffle started between the two.
The matter reached the police station, after which a crime was registered against Itwar Singh, while no crime has been registered against the constable on this complaint till now.
