Manoj Yadav, Korba. A massive fire broke out late at night in SBI Bank located at Ghantaghar Chowk in the district. The fire caused chaos in the area. On receiving information about the fire, the police and fire brigade team reached the spot. During this, the fire was brought under control after a lot of hard work. It is being told that this incident of arson happened due to the negligence of the SBI employee.
Actually, on Tuesday late night around 12 o’clock, a fire broke out in the branch office of State Bank of India (SBI) located in Niharika area near Ghantaghar Chowk. As soon as the information of the fire was received, people from nearby areas reached there. Civil line police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. At the same time, the employees of the electricity department disconnected the connection here and the employees of the fire department reached with the fire engine and controlled the fire. The negligence of the SBI employee has come to the fore behind this arson. After working in the bank, the employee forgot to turn off the AC. Due to which a short circuit occurred due to increasing heat and a massive fire broke out. It is not yet known how much damage has been caused in this arson.
